Festival of Cricket

Our ongoing commitment to supporting cancer care across Sri Lanka through our Cancer Relief projects was once again focused on the Batticaloa District, with the donation of essential medical equipment to Teaching Hospital Batticaloa.

The Festival of Cricket Charity Foundation donated equipment valued at Rs. 2 million to support the hospital’s recent initiative to address critical resource shortages. This contribution will help enhance the quality of care and treatment available to patients battling cancer, many of whom come from underprivileged backgrounds.

Representing the Festival of Cricket Charity Foundation at the presentation were Mr Niyas Mohamed, Mr S. Balamurali, and Mr Wasantha Perera. They were joined by hospital staff and representatives of the Batticaloa Cancer Society, whose efforts were instrumental in coordinating the project.

The Festival of Cricket Charity Foundation remains committed to supporting healthcare initiatives that make a meaningful difference to the lives of patients and their families across Sri Lanka.
