33rd Annual General Meeting of the Festival of Cricket 2023

The 33rd Annual General Meeting of the Festival of Cricket 2023 took place on Sunday, 8th October 2023, at the London Post Office Sports Club, Greenford Road, Harrow HA1 3QL. In his speech, the outgoing President, Mr. Konesh GovindaRajah, mentioned that 2023 was a challenging year but ultimately very successful, with the highest number of attendees. He extended unreserved gratitude to the Chief Guest - The High Commissioner for Sri Lanka in the UK, Guests of Honour, the member OBAs, Members of the Executive Committee, Committee Chairmen, Sponsors, Advertisers, Management of the Hainault Recreation Grounds, Stallholders, Guests, and all Helpers.  

The following office bearers were elected as new Executive Officers for 2023/24:

• Kasun Waduge, Hon. President, Thurstan College, Colombo
• Umendra Thillekeratne, Hon. Secretary, Mahanama College, Colombo
• Nisanka Rodrigo, Hon. Treasurer, St Joseph Vaz College, Wennapuwa

The new President, Mr. Kasun Waduge, expressed his thanks to the member OBAs for electing him. Addressing the members, he stated that his success had been a result of the contributions of many members, chairmen, and advisors. He committed to continuing to leverage his experience and achievements to repeat the recent success story of the FOC while upholding FOC core values and best practices.
