The Promotional Evening of the Festival of Cricket 2019, celebrating its 31st anniversary, was held on Friday 24 May at the Sri Lankan High Commission in Hyde Park Gardens, London. The event commenced at approximately 6.30 pm.
The evening was opened by Her Excellency the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka, Ms Manisha Gunasekera, who addressed the gathering, followed by speeches from the Festival of Cricket 2019 principal sponsors.
The President of the Festival of Cricket, Mr Kapila Mallikarachchige, then delivered a vote of thanks, expressing his appreciation to the sponsors for their continued support and to the Sri Lankan High Commission for making the necessary arrangements to ensure the success of the event.
The evening concluded with refreshments and a networking session.
